You’re Invited! Terra Australis Exhibition Opening May 2nd

Dave and I are ecstatic to be a part of the CONTACT photography festival this year. CONTACT is an annual, month long festival of photography with over 1000 local, national and international artists at more than 220 venues across Toronto. Our exhibition will be held in our studio, located in the junction, which is smack dab in the middle of the all of the excitement!

This organization began more than 13 years ago and CONTACT is devoted to celebrating an appreciation of the art of professional photography. We’re so happy to be a part of the largest photography event in the world and such a cultural event in Toronto. CONTACT stimulates so much excitement in the city of Toronto and the world of photography! Allowing galleries and studios to open their doors to photography enthusiasts and photography lovers alike. This appreciation for the art of fine photography has expanded to an audience that has grown to over 1,000,000 and this years participation is expected to be even greater!

While on location in Perth, Australia photographing Jasmine and Louis’ destination wedding, Dave and I photographed a collection of images that held great meaning to us. These images are of the breath-taking beauty of the vast Australian landscapes. From the dry desolate desert to the lush ancient forests, we documented our journey as a reminder of how incredible and sacred the Earth is and how conservation in key to our survival. These photographs really spoke to us and at the end of our journey we knew that we would cherish these photographs for a lifetime, now we want to share them with you.

Kick off the opening night of the festival and visit the many talented, award winning CONTACT exhibits May 2nd between 6-9. Dave, my sister Tricia and I visited many of the galleries at last years CONTACT festival and we’re so impressed with the phenomenal imagery we saw.

We will be holding our opening night for our gallery, Terra Australis, May 2nd 6-9pm at our studio in The Junction, Toronto. We’d love to have you stop by our exhibit to view our images over a glass of wine or a cappuccino 🙂

Our gallery of images will be on sale to the public and we’re happy to say that a portion of the proceeds will be going to help the Dachshunds in need at “Who’s your Dachshund” Blog.

Above is the official Contact Photo Festival Map… See how packed the Junction is with Exhibition!? Make sure you leave plenty of time to check out the exhibitions along the whole street. See you all Saturday!
