Andrew & Emilie’s Wedding at Angus Glen

Charlotte and I have been having an awesome Summer… it seems like we get to photograph so many fun-loving, energetic, loving couples. This weekend’s wedding was no exception. Andrew & Emilie first caught each others eye when they were in high school art class together… now years later they’re tying the knot… It’s cool how life works out eh.

Andrew looked rather spiffy in his traditional Scottish garb, including his kilt, sgian Dubh, sporran & brogues.

I’m sure you’ll agree that Emilie looked absolutely stunning…

We did a first look and the bride & groom’s wedding photos before the ceremony. Angus Glen has an awesome blue barn & homestead that we used for a of the photos… check it out.

Emilie & Andrew have a wicked sense of humour… hence these next two photos! Hilarious right?!

When we got to the club house we spotted some pretty sweet clouds and asked the couple to walk to the top o the hill… that’s when Charlotte snagged this wicked shot!

These next three pictures are some of our favourites from the day.

The gorgeous bouquet…

The wedding party arrived for some photos next and I have to say, William stole the show. He’s gonna be a lady killer!

What a stunning wedding party eh?

I thought Emilie’s dad looked so snappy in his top hat and tails…

And isn’t this just one of the sweetest moments ever. I love that.

The wedding ceremony took place on the patio surrounding the original Angus Glen club house. I’m so happy for them that the rain held off until the reception. Emilie had some tears through the ceremony and I did spot Andrew trying to hold back a couple of times too.

The wedding reception was held in the The Kennedy Loft – a room with the charm of a Victorian home. The vaulted ceilings and cathedral windows provided the perfect backdrop for their intimate and elegant reception.

That’s it for another week… We’ll try to post more in the coming couple of months! We have so many amazing weddings from this Summer that we can’t wait to blog… Look forward to hearing your thoughts 🙂
